Creating a new Event Type

To create a new Event Type select the Event Type tab on your left hand Navigation menu beneath Events

Select + Create Event Type

The information to create a new event type is as follows:

  • Label - The name of the new event
  • Colour - The colour in which the event will be recognised
  • Craft Type 
  • Create from board - Can the event be created from the planning board? 
  • Blocks duplicate events
  • Description - does the event require a description? 
  • Transition to planned event - Can the event go from one event to planned? 
  • All day event - is the event classified as all day or are set times required?
  • Can assign resources - Can vehicles, employees, equipment etc be assigned to the event?

 Should planned event be selected the addition required information can be selected to add to the 

  • Work requester
  • Address
  • Substation number
  • Work instruction number
  • Job number
  • Work order number
  • Type of switch gear

Once you submit the form, you should see a success message and be viewing the new Event Type
